ADI is proud to offer Arabic Dance as part of our growing genre of world dance techniques.  Lori Clark will be offering this class at a beginner level starting this October 11th, at 3:00 until 4:15PM.  Afterwards, she will offer a Northern Indian Kathak class  aimed at using the technique to perform classically based Hindi film dances.  Immediately following this class, Lori will work with a performance group on Bollywood choreography, popular Hindi choreography based on classical or folk dance and possibly some Arabic elements. 

These classes will be taught on Sundays with Arabic Dance from 3:00 - 4:15 PM, Kathak running from 4:30 - 5:30 PM and Bollywood from 5:30 - 6:30 PM.  Our special price for Kathak/Mujra and Arabic Belly Dance is $16, and those who are invited by Lori to stay and practice with her company can take the Bollywood class for $8.  These classes are for teens and adults.  We are, however, creating a waiting list for a children's class at a later time.  Come and join us to explore the Arabic and Indian cultures that are so popular today in novels and film...or just to express your own rich heritage!
