This page has some basic information about the three types of classes we have at ADI: private lessons, group classes, and Alexandria Ballet school classes. Private Lessons

Many students choose to study one on one with an instructor. One advantage of private instruction is that lessons may be arranged around the student's schedule. Some students find that working one on one with an instructor enables them to find comfort in dancing more rapidly than in group classes. Group Classes

Group classes are a great way to dance. All of our group classes are open to anybody. You do NOT need a partner!

All of our classes are open to all students, but some of the classes are really geared toward students who commit to taking class every week, or twice a week. You may still drop-in to those classes, but you should be aware that most of the students come to the class regularly. The classes that last for an hour and a half (double classes) are the classes more geared toward constant participation.

Alexandria Ballet School

The Alexandria Ballet School offers classes for children ages 3 - Adult. Please note that all of the ballet classes require an enrollment fee of $60 dollars per semester. The Alexandria Ballet is now accepting enrollment for its Spring Semester. Classes are forming for ages 3 through Adult, with special classes including: Boys Class, Spanish Dance, and Character.

The Spring Recital will be held Saturday May 30th, 2009. All classes take place in the Alliance Dance Institute.
